Maritime Transport

LCL o Loose Container Load is the handling of loose cargo in maritime transport when the cargo is not enough to fill a container. The cargo is loaded into a container pooling (sharing the container with the cargo of other exporting companies) and shipped to a terminal designated CFS (Container freight station). The carrier is responsible for the adequacy and condition of the container and filling.

FCL o Full Container Load is when the container is when the container is full loaded with cargos of the same export company, and under the responsibility of the consignee or consignor.

Break Bulk refers to cargos whose dimensions cannot be containerized in normal containers, so those cargos are transport in special vessels calling multipurpose.
